Using Interrupts

This project uses ARM’s General Interrupt Controller (GIC) to work with peripheral devices including pushbuttons and the main/most accurate timer avaialbe in the ARM system. The GIC is a standard part of most ARM systems, and it is a relatively capable computer in it’s own right. Setting it up involves multiple steps, but you are guided through them in detail. After the interrupt system is working, you reconfigure the stopwatch to use interrupts for I/O’s and for the main time base.
