Urbana Board


The Urbana board is an FPGA-based educational platform designed to host a wide range of digital systems and microprocessor IP/core designs. Based on AMDs Spartan-7 FPGA, the Urbana board includes a 128Mbyte DDR3 memory, an SD card interface, a Bluetooth radio, a USB2 host, and many other features and devices. A free, full-featured version of AMD’s CAD tools can be used for design entry, simulation, synthesis, and FPGA programming, and a single USB connection provides power, a UART/COM port, and a programming port.
